Your story matters.

I’m Jenna, the therapist behind Soundview Therapy Center. I work with adult women who feel like they’re stuck in cycles of self-doubt, perfectionism, or body struggles.

I believe therapy works best when it feels real—not clinical or stiff. My approach is authentic, compassionate, and sometimes sprinkled with humor. I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported as we explore the parts of your story that weigh heavy.

The name Soundview comes from my love of the ocean—creation’s most beautiful reminder that change isn’t just possible, but inevitable.

Therapy that meets you where you are.

I offer 50-minute virtual therapy sessions for residents of Connecticut and Massachusetts, with weekday availability between 9:00am and 5:30pm.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t accept insurance directly. However, I provide monthly superbills that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan and out-of-network benefits.

To support care accessibility, I reserve a limited number of spots at a sliding scale rate. If this would be helpful for you, please feel free to ask about current availability.

CURRENT RATES

FAQs

What kind of therapy do you offer?

I provide individual psychotherapy for adult women (+18yo) navigating eating disorders, body image struggles, self-esteem concerns, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. All sessions are held virtually for residents of Connecticut and Massachusetts.

How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

The therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of success in therapy. I encourage you to book a free consultation call so we can talk through your needs, questions, and goals. If I’m not the best fit, I’ll gladly point you toward other resources or referrals.

What can I expect in the first session?

The first session, or intake session, is all about getting to know you—your story, what’s been going on, and what you’d like to work on. Intakes are about 55 minutes in duration, and mostly consist of a clinical interview to get to know your past and current issues, so that we can outline your goals. I’ll also share more about my practice policies, answer your questions, and collaborate with you in your care. Think of it as a conversation, not an interrogation.

Is virtual therapy effective?

Yes! Research shows that teletherapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns. Many clients actually prefer it—it’s flexible, convenient, and allows you to connect from the comfort of your own space.

How long are sessions, and what is your fee?

Sessions are 50 minutes long and the fee is $195 per session.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t accept insurance directly. Many clients are able to get partial reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. I provide monthly superbills (detailed receipts) that you can submit to your insurance company.

Do you offer sliding scale sessions?

Yes. I hold a limited number of spots at a sliding scale rate to increase accessibility to therapy. If this would be helpful for you, feel free to ask me about current availability.

How often will we meet?

Most clients start with weekly sessions. This consistency helps build momentum in the beginning. Over time, we may adjust the frequency depending on your progress and needs. Session frequency is always a collaborative discussion.

How do I get started?
